Venereal Diseases including AIDS are mainly
transmitted by sexual intercourse. In rare cases
they are acquired by contacts other than sexual
intercourse, such as Pricking by the infected
needles, blood transfusions and skin to skin
contact etc., particularly when the skin is
broken by some injury.
Venereal diseases are mostly curable except
few like Aids etc. Syphilis and Gonorrhea generally
follow a classical course and there is an effective
treatment, where a patient feels really satisfied
that he has been cured with medicines. The difficult
thing for a doctor and a patient is Herpes Progenitalis.
